Today is Veterans Day and we would like to take a moment to honor our Datamaxx Veterans and their families for their personal sacrifice and give praise to them who bravely served our great nation:

Larry Allen served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era from 1965 to 1969 and is designated a Disabled Veteran,

Bob Iadicicco served in the U.S. Navy from 1985 to 1997,

Marsha Sanchez served in the U.S. Army from 1982 to 1990,

Steve Musgrove served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 to 1990,

and Johnnie Walker served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era from 1970 to 1973 and is designated a Disabled Veteran

Thanks to each of you for your service, dedication, and sacrifice. We will never forget!

Across our nation, US and State Flags are lowered in Honor of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.  The flags will remain lowered until 8:00 AM the day following the Queen’s State Funeral.  The story of Queen Elizabeth’s life is absolutely amazing and if you have a chance it is really worth learning about. 

This Sunday, September 11^th, it was 21 years ago that one of the greatest tragedies in American history hit close to home.  Like most of you, I vividly remember where I was and what I was doing the morning of September 11^th.  We must never forget the attacks on innocence and the heroes who lost their lives while attempting to save others.

It is my deepest prayer that despite the differences and turmoil around us, we will unite and stand together in support of our common values and show respect for one another; something we all desperately want and need.   

This September Datamaxx also celebrates our 31st Anniversary. We are grateful for every member of the Datamaxx Team as well as each of our customers who together, make up the Datamaxx family. Thank you for allowing us to serve you these many years. Here’s to many more!

Our hearts are full with thanksgiving as we look back over the last year and all of it’s challenges, we are reminded of how grateful we are for our loyal customers, business partners, and more importantly our awesome family of employees.

It is said that only one-third of companies actually make it past the 10 year mark.  September 16, 2021 marks the 30^th Anniversary of Datamaxx and all we can say is…THANK YOU!  Thank you to our customers and our business partners who have put their trust and investment into our technology and our people.  Thank you to our employees and their families who have become part of our family.  Thank you to our God and our country where one’s passion and dreams can turn into reality above and beyond anything imagined.

For most of us, it’s hard to believe that it has already been 20 years since that fateful day.  Even though that much time has passed, we must never forget the victims, the families, survivors and the lasting consequences of 9/11 on individual lives and our great nation.  

I recall watching President Bush as he declared, “Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.”  In a reference to the eventual U.S. military response he declared, “We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them.”

I think we can all distinctly remember where we were that day as well as the days and months that followed.  We received urgent calls from the NYPD asking for assistance in getting their communications and systems online so they could work with rescue teams from the FDNY and other first responders.  Our mission had never been clearer and we have not deviated. Today is a constant reminder we must remain vigilant to secure the safety of our country.

Over a lifetime we all have memories of events that leave a profound impact on each of us.  We have a responsibility to pass these memories down – from generation to generation – and NEVER FORGET 9/11! Those that lost their lives and the families, friends, colleagues they left behind…deserve nothing less.  Today and every day, we pray for the many brave men and women who protect and serve us every day.
